Mad'House

Mad'House is a Eurodance group formed in France during the spring of 2002, consisting of Mukendi M'Bambi Adolphe (DJ and music producer), Stéphane Durand (producer), and Buse Ünlü (vocalist). The group gained initial recognition with their debut single "Like a Prayer" (2002), which was inspired by an internet mashup combining Madonna and Black Legend. This track became a significant hit, reaching Number 1 in Germany, Austria, and Ireland. Following this early success, Mad'House released further Madonna covers including "Into The Groove" and "Holiday". Their debut album Absolutely Mad was released on September 3, 2002, under Universal Licensing Music. The album featured a collection of Eurodance tracks that blended electronic beats with pop melodies, which charted across Europe, hitting number 3 in France. Mad'House capitalized on their early success by embarking on a European tour, performing in various countries across the continent. Despite their promising start, the group disbanded in late 2002 after Buse Ünlü decided to leave the music industry following the premature birth of her son. This decision effectively ended Mad'House's career, leaving behind a brief but impactful discography that included notable hits and a unique sound within the Eurodance genre.
