Emmanuel Kwizera, better known by his stage name RunUp, is a
Rwandan Afropop singer and songwriter. RunUp began his musical
journey as a teenager, driven by a deep passion for storytelling through
sound.
In 2023, he released his official debut single “Isabella”, followed by
“Flower” and “DELETE”, which helped introduce his unique style to a
growing audience.
His big breakthrough came in 2024 with the release of “On God”, a
powerful collaboration with Ugandan music legend Pallaso. The track
resonated with listeners for its heartfelt message about gratitude and a
reflection of RunUp’s personal journey from humble beginnings to rising
star.
Later that same year, he released “See”, a high energy anthem that went
viral on TikTok thanks to its catchy lyrics and dynamic flow, solidifying his
status as one of Rwandan most promising new artists.
