Omar Aloulou, also known as FËLINE, is a tunisian electronic music artist and film music
composer, living and working between Tunis and Paris. His career began as a bassist
and composer in various psychedelic rock bands such as 38ème parallèle or The
Ursula Minor with which he participated to Fusion Festival (Germany) in 2008.
Omar Aloulou also composed for various side projects, such as the video game Dirty
Conscience, the sitcom Victor & Brookyno or the video installation 100 Lieux as part
of the cultural event Dream City in 2010 in collaboration with the architects collective
Atelier sans titres, the video artist Romain Courtois and the scenographer Frédéric
Janin. For the digital audio book The day the Berlin Wall did not fall he also signed a
musical creation on a text by french poet Ed Anon.
Eclectic artist, Omar Aloulou got in touch with hip-hop in 2013 by co-producing with AELI
the EP Mars for the Parisian rapper Mal’T.
In 2015, he composes the original soundtrack for the surprise hit movie Hedi by
Mohamed Ben Attia, awarded at the Berlinale 2016. The same year he presents the
video clip of his track Lime Song in collaboration with Lebanese filmmaker Léa Lahoud.
He is also the author of the original scores for tunisian movies Benzine by Sarra Abidi
(2017), Dear Son by Mohamed Ben Attia (2018) or the documentary Railway Men by
Erige Sehiri (2018).
His singular artistic path leads him to release in 2020 the album OLÉNINE, on the label
Shouka, a musical adaptation of the novel The Cossacks by russian author Leo Tolstoy,
a narrative musical experience on an electronic basis.
