Oktagon was a German fusion band formed in 1980 by brothers Hermann and Berthold Weindorf, along with bassist Litschie Hrdlička. The initial lineup also included drummer Ernst Seibt and guitarist Hans Meinzinger. Seibt and Meinzinger were later replaced by Curt Cress and Wesley Plass respectively. The band's self-titled debut album, Oktagon, was released in 1980 under the label Weryton. The album featured compositions primarily by Hermann Weindorf, with notable tracks such as "Surrounding (S'Schließt Mi Ei)" and "Reflection (Ruhig Wird's)". The band's second album, Orientation, was released in 1982 and included the title track "Orientation" composed by Litschie Hrdlička. After the release of their second album in 1982, Oktagon disbanded.
