Mark Ramos Nishita, known professionally as Money Mark, was born on February 10, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan, and established himself as a keyboardist, composer, producer, and melodica player in the electronic music scene. Emerging from Detroit’s vibrant music environment, he entered the recording world with the 1995 single "Cry" and the instrumental release Mark's Keyboard Repair in August of that year, setting the tone for a career marked by inventive keyboard work. Money Mark’s breakthrough came in 1998, when he unveiled the album Push the Button, followed by Mark on the Mic and the single "Hand in Your Head" later that year; the same year he released the track "Maybe I'm Dead". The early 2000s saw the launch of Change Is Coming (2001) and the exploratory Demo? Or Demolition? (2004). In 2007, Money Mark issued Brand New by Tomorrow and promoted the single "Pick Up the Pieces", further cementing his reputation for blending jazz sensibilities with electronic textures.
