Killages was formed at the beginning of 2017 in Rustavi/Georgia. The band gained popularity from the very beginning by winning the contest “Newcomer 2017” after that Killages played on literally every major festival in Georgia and shortly became very famous.
It’s quite difficult to define the genre of the band during the workflow they achieved sound and charisma for which they are known and loved by listeners. Nowadays their main direction is alternative Hip-Hop with a lot of live sounds and catchy melody parts.
2020 quite successful for the band, along with 6 singles Killages released their debut album Original Brothers, of which’s track Bottle Sip was nominated for the “Track of the year” of nations biggest music awards Electronauts, Bottle Sip also made it to the “Top 7 tracks of 2020” by the most popular music platform in Georgia “Usmine” which was later released on vinyl. On top of that, Killages have more monthly listeners on Spotify than any other Georgian Indie or Hip-hop artist. YouTube channel views crossed 5M (900K in 2019) and it’s still going up.
Killages is arguably one of the most promising bands in Georgia, their talent, dedication, and hard work guarantees that they will fly in “Top leagues” very soon.
