Born and raised on the picturesque Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia, Amber Stone has been forging a career in music since the tender age of 16. A singer-songwriter pianist, Stone is as gorgeous as her songs, all plucked straight from a heart worn very much on her sleeve.
Having shown very early signs of her songwriting artistry, the now Queensland Conservatorium graduate was a nurtured talent during high school, with her first recorded song “Coloured Canvas” given life out of a five day Rock School program. Her debut single “Being Yours,” earned her success at Australian radio.
Stone’s sultry production and vocal perfection easily places the Gold Coast singer on the way to being Australia’s answer to pop icon, Taylor Swift. It comes as no surprise that Stone draws influence from songwriters such as Julia Michaels, with Stone's lyrics leaving your heart unravelling around you.
The personal love she has for artists such as The Kooks, Lana Del Rey and Bring Me The Horizon has paved a way for an eclectic tone of production to Stone’s music, showing a diversity beyond her years. The fusion of her love of pop, indie and even Brit and psychedelic rock has given her music a zest that not many other pop artists have.
Working with producers renowned both locally and internationally, including the likes of Jarryd Shuker (Future Jr, Golden Vessel, OKBADLANDS), Taka Perry (RCA, M-Phazes, Ruel, Max Frost for Atlantic Records) and Tristan Hoogland (Golden Vessel, Ball Park Music, Cub Sport), Amber is soon to release her much-anticipated single in Spring 2020.
