Mem Nahadr, born with albinism to African American parents in the United States of America, is a multi-octave vocalist and performance artist. Her musical talent was evident from an early age when her parents discovered her improvising on the piano at five years old. In 1999, she founded Madwoman Multimedia to promote her music. Nahadr's breakthrough came with her first off-Broadway theatrical production, Madwoman: A Contemporary Opera, in 2008, based after her album of the same name released in 2003. In 2009, she released Eclecticism, followed by MÊM in 2011.
