7 Year Bitch was an American punk rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1990 by vocalist Selene Vigil, bassist Elizabeth Davis, drummer Valerie Agnew, and guitarist Stefanie Sargent. After releasing the 1991 single "Lorna", the group signed with C/Z Records and issued their debut album Sick 'Em in 1992, a release delayed by Sargent’s untimely death from asphyxiation earlier that year. The band honored her and fellow Seattle punk icon Mia Zapata-killed in 1993-by issuing the tribute album ¡Viva Zapata! in 1994. They signed with Atlantic Records in 1995 and released Gato Negro in 1996 before a lineup change saw guitarist Roisin Dunne replaced by Lisa Fay Beatty. The group disbanded in 1997 after a final tour, and Beatty later died in 2011.
