TAFS, a Swiss rap group from Basel-Landschaft, was formed in 1997 and consisted of MCs Taz and Aman along with DJ Flink. The trio's name is an acronym for "Taz Aman Flink Squad." Their early breakthrough came with the release of their first single 8i Bahnhof in 1999, which included the track "8i Bahnhof" featured on the VIVA-Compilation Schwiizer Rap Garde. The group was known for rapping in the Baselbiets dialect. In 2002, TAFS released Liebi zur Sach, followed by the album 44 in 2003 and a live album, 44 Live!, in 2004, accompanied by the reggae group The Scrucialists.
