Iván Sevillano Pérez, better known as Huecco, was born in Plasencia, Spain, on March 28, 1974. Before embarking on a solo career, he was a member of the rock band Sugarless and also pursued media studies and ice skating. His breakthrough came in 2006 with the release of his self-titled debut album Huecco and the single "Pa' mi guerrera" which gained significant attention. Following this success, he released several albums such as 2008's Assalto, which featured the single Reina de los Ángelotes. In 2011, Huecco released his third studio album, Dame Vida. The project was notable for its charitable aspect: the royalties from the album were donated to his organization Fundación Dame Vida, which distributes Soccket footballs generating electricity when kicked to energy-impoverished areas.Lobbo, his fourth full-length album, came out in 2016.
