Reign of Fury, a British thrash metal band from South West England and The Midlands, was formed in 2006. The idea for Reign of Fury came from discussions between lead guitarist Ed Westlake and drummer Magic Dave Humphries at a pub in Cheltenham. Initially called Reign of Terror, the band changed its name early on to Reign of Fury. In 2011, they released their debut EP Psycho Intentions. The following year, Reign of Fury played their first metal festival show at Bloodstock and released their debut album World Detonation (2012). Their second LP, Death Be Thy Shepherd (2015), was critically acclaimed and followed by extensive UK touring.
