Formed in 1989 in the Brooklin district of São Paulo, SIEGRID INGRID is one of Brazil’s most iconic extreme metal bands. A staple of the underground scene since the '90s, the band is known for its aggressive sound blending Thrash, Hardcore, Death Metal, and Grindcore, with sharp lyrics and explosive live performances.
After gaining cult status with the EP The Choice (1992), they broke through with the classic Pissed Off (1994), featuring the political satire anthem “Enéas.” In 1999, they signed with Cogumelo Records and released The Corpse Falls, produced by Heros Trench (Korzus), widely acclaimed as one of Brazil’s best heavy albums.
Following a hiatus in 2002, the band returned in 2019 and released the powerful album Back From Hell in 2023, showcasing their sonic fury and lyrical maturity. The record spawned standout tracks like “Never Again,” “Nojo,” and “In Search of Light,” receiving airplay on major rock stations like 89FM (SP).
The subsequent tour included over 25 shows across Brazil and resulted in their first live album, Massacre In Lorena (2024), capturing the raw energy of their stage presence. The current phase also features official music videos for “Nojo” and “Drásticas Consequências.”
