Hundred Seventy Split, a British blues rock group, was formed in 2010 by Joe Gooch on guitar and vocals, and Leo Lyons on bass and songwriting, both former members of Ten Years After. The trio was completed with Damon Sawyer on drums. The band's name, suggested by Lyons' son Harry, refers to a Nashville intersection and is seen as a musical crossroads. Hundred Seventy Split began performing new material alongside classics from Ten Years After's repertoire, touring extensively in Western Europe. Their debut album, The World on't Stop, was released in 2010, followed by Hundred Seventy Split – Special Edition the same year and HSS in 2014. The group continues to perform regularly, blending their blues rock sound with a fresh approach to music.
