Riko Redz is an American hip-hop artist with a broad range of skills. He is not only a performer, but also a ghostwriter, singer and songwriter with a rather eclectic approach.
His music is direct, irreverent and in-your-face, with an energetic flow that reminds people of the greats of the genre.
He was born in Baltimore, MD, but grew up between New York, Chicago, Wyoming and various places in Pennsylvania. Currently, He is based in Baltimore, Maryland, where he still works on his craft. He now focuses on his solo work, but was a former member of Syndakit, a group that had the chance to open for major performers such as Paul Wall or Baby Bash.
Riko Redz’ songs boast his unique lyrical mastery, as well as his ability to turn a beat into a powerhouse of groove and melody. He is a skilled wordsmith and performer with a smooth and consistent flow, which sits perfectly well within the mix.
