WEENKAH is of Jamaican origin and was born on the water, on a trip to Saint Lucia. He is therefore as comfortable vocally in English as in French, despite the English-speaking predominance of his compositions and texts. Today he comes back under his own Label LOOSEN UP from the B For Black Records Group, after many years of absence, devoted to studying the workings of the music industry. Lulled by the spicy rhythms of the Caribbean, his musical universe oscillates around R&B, Tropical House, Rap and naturally Reggae Dancehall!
WEENKAH est d’origine Jamaïcaine, il est né sur l'eau, lors d'un voyage vers l'île de la Sainte-Lucie. Il est donc aussi à l’aise vocalement en anglais qu’en français, malgré la prédominance anglophone que tend à prendre ses compositions et textes. Aujourd'hui il revient sous son propre Label LOOSEN UP du groupe B For Black Records, après de nombreuses années d'absence, consacrées à l'étude des rouages de l'industrie de la musique. Bercé par les rythmes épicés de la caraïbe, son univers musical oscille autour du R&B, Tropical House, Rap et naturellement le reggae Dancehall !
