Hey Y’all I’m now on deezer. Find me @joshykcountry
Joshua Warren King, formerly known as Joshy K, was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of the high functioning spectrum of Autism since he was two years old. A Chicago native and currently Detroit bound, Josh has had challenges where he had to fight his own battles in a world where people don’t consider others like him to be normal people. And that’s when he discovered how important it was to follow his dream of becoming a country musician. He had a debut feature in CALEBAKACNOTE’s music video, TwentyFourSeven (Intro) seen jumping and standing at the pool with a blue shirt watching two guys perform flips. Although not the best start, the first album project he created was Dreams Come True under his former stage name “Josh King” along with The Long Road, Quarantine & Injustice, and Everything That's Me. At the time, Josh was unsuccessful with his quality work, but before releasing Joy Ride, he has also reached out after watching NBC’s Songland where a songwriter caught his eye to expand his horizons. One day, NBC Songland songwriter Josh Logan convinced him to join his patreon FAM CLUB where he would attend his monthly zoom concert calls to learn how he can better experience his future project works. These experiences gives Josh the opportunity to be the light and hope to others when other people who have similar challenges like him need it the most. His dream is to show that even people with the most difficult challenges can still make a difference in the world.
