Originally called À la recherche de la nouvelle star in its first season in 2003, Nouvelle Star is certainly the show of its kind that has revealed the most talent. Since the first winner Jonatan Cerrada, there have been, in chronological order, Steeve Estatof, Myriam Abel, Christophe Willem, Julien Doré, Amandine Bourgeois, Soan, Luce and Sophie-Tith. Among those who didn't win " Nouvelle star " but took advantage of its spotlight to launch a career are Amel Bent, Ycare, Gaetane Abrial, Melissa Nkonda and Camélia Jordana. Discontinued by M6 after its season 8 in 2010, the TV talent show was reborn in 2013 on the D8 channel with Sophie-Tith as the new nugget.
