Her admiration for blues and classic rock is evident in her timbre, weaving husky growls and powerful belts into soft folk melodies. A self-taught guitarist, she dazzles with various finger-picking styles, genres, tunings and time signatures. Comparisons to artists like Florence Welch, Regina Spektor, Nora Jones, and Stevie Nix highlight her depth and versatility.
Her Afrikaans singles, 'Spieël' & “Stomme See”, both featured on the coveted Spotify editorial playlists, 'Nuwe Afrikaans' & ‘Diep Afrikaans’. Her EP ‘Bare’ was recorded and mixed by award-winning producer, Jo Ellis. The track 'Cocoon,' beloved by fans, appeared on Katbok Radio and many personal playlists, it and ‘Disbelief’ were recorded, mixed & mastered by talented sound engineer, Jaco Naude. Her debut single, “Tea, Wine & Time” (2019), is a product of her own recording efforts.
She performed at Splashy Fen, Benoni Gin & Beer, Innibos, Stroom, Galpalooza and Harmony festivals in 2024. She has had the honour of opening for Dan Patlanksy at 3 of his Barnyard Theatre shows this year. She regularly plays at venues and events across GP. She was well-received at the popular Misty Waters festival, Hartswerkfees, Gypsy Party and Clarens Jamboree in 2023. Extending her reach, she has done 3 successful Mpumalanga tours and another in KZN between 2023 & 2024. Standout shows in 2022 include Bos Boogie festival, Park Acoustics and various popular venues during her successful Western Cape tour.
