Singer singer writer from Pontypool in South Wales, Rebecca Richards only recently started songwriting after joining an online song writing forum and is already making a name for herself with her gorgeous chord progressions, melody creation and beautiful voice. Songs are uplifting, empowering whilst maintaining a bittersweet edge. Unluckiest of Hearts, her debut single is already a blues based classic which builds from the first note to the last, full of vocal harmonies, her signature style in recording. A voice with the sweetness of Katie Melua, restfulness of Karen Carpenter but when warranted brings a harder powerful edge. Influences are heavily steeped in country, blues and alternative folk/rock.
