Florian Senfter, known professionally as John Starlight, was born in 1974 and has been based in Munich, Germany. He is a DJ and producer who began his music career under this pseudonym in 2001 alongside his main project Zombie Nation. His breakthrough came with the EPs Blood Angels and Zauberstab der Liebe, which were featured in several Techno DJs' "Best of 2002" playlists. In June 2003, Starlight released his debut album Rip It!. Following this, he released multiple remixes and singles, including "John's Addiction pt. 1 + 2" (2005) and "Road Rage" (2008). Unlike Zombie Nation, where Senfter performs exclusively as a live act, John Starlight is known for his DJ performances.
