Art of Fighting is an Australian indie rock band formed in 1995 in Melbourne, Australia. The group was established by the musicians Ollie Browne and Peggy Frew, who were later joined by Miles Browne and Marty Brown. Their debut EP, The Very Strange Year (1998), was followed by the recording Empty Nights (1999). Their debut full-length album, Wires (2001), received the ARIA Award for Best Adult Alternative Album. Their recordings include the album Second Storey (2004) and the single “Eastbound” (2006). The band composed the soundtrack for the film Ten Empty (2008). After a period of inactivity, the ensemble resumed activity in 2019 and released the album Luna Low (2019).
