24 year-old Israeli singer-songwriter, pianist and producer, YALI BLANK is one of the most unique artists to appear in recent times on the indie-electronic scene. Her experimental style combines influences from Classical music, jazz, and electro-pop.
YALI performs as a “One Girl Band” with a varied electronic setup which includes keyboards, synthesizers, and effect devices. She began writing songs at a young age while still learning in a conservatory for classical piano. Soon after, she learned composition, production, and sound design.
On stage, YALI delivers a curious combinations of ethereal melodies, broken beats, and soft vocals. Each show may be completely different from the last or any other. She is a childhood bone cancer survivor and draws on her unfortunate experiences as inspiration. Her energy on stage is in stark contrast to her permanent disability that affects her mobility.
In the last two years she has toured worldwide with her first project “Chaos”- a project that drew influences from many different genres and cultures including her Middle Eastern roots. Currently she is planning for the release of her debut EP - “Why Do Flowers Mean Love?”.
