Los Petersellers, a Spanish rock group founded in Madrid in 1993, are known for their humorous and slightly punk-infused style, which they term "guateque-punk." The band's original lineup included members who had previously been part of groups like The Refrescos. Their debut album, Vayamos por partes, was released in 1993. Los Petersellers gained attention for their irreverent covers and original tracks such as "Uma Thurman me toca la banana". Subsequent albums include Contra la amenaza del Dr. Thedio (1997) and Más cara que espalda (1999). The group's discography also features a compilation, Los bestsellers de los Petersellers, released in 2000. Notable for their live performances, Los Petersellers continue to tour extensively across Spain, with a highly anticipated annual concert on December 28th known as "Los Peterinocentes." Dr. Shecter remains the only original member actively involved with the band.
