Malurt, a Danish pop-rock band, emerged from the local rock scene, quickly gaining attention with the single “CPR/Neonsolen” (1981) and the album Kold Krig (1980) on Amar Records. In 1982, after internal disputes, the band signed with Medley Records and released Black-Out, followed by Spøgelser (1990), Uden Filter (1992), and Ghetto in 1993. The 1994 album Live – Længe – Leve captured a live performance. Malurt was put on hold in 1994 but reunited for a 25th‑anniversary tour in 2005, maintaining a presence in Danish pop‑rock history.
