Benedikt Wolfgang Schiefer is a berlin-based composer, pianist, conductor and multi-instrumentalist. He is mostly known for his music for feature films, which have screened at leading festivals worldwide including Cannes, Venice and Berlin. His versatile work is a metamorphosis of the tradition of experimental classical music, transformed into something more contemporary and accessible. With subtle complexity, he seeks to achieve a seductive and emotive raw beauty in his music. In his past he has composed commissioned music for soloists, ensembles, theatres, installations and music for film. He is currently working on several international film projects and solo EPs.
