Marc Eric Terenzi was born on June 27, 1978 in Natick, Massachusetts. He is an American pop singer and guitarist who became famous through his membership of the boy band Natural. His grandmother awakened his enthusiasm for music at the age of three and taught him his first dance steps in her studio. At the age of seven, Marc Terenzi taught himself to play the piano, followed later by the guitar and saxophone. At the age of twelve, he hosted the Boston TV show Studio A.T.V., followed by appearances in stage shows throughout the USA. He moves to Orlando, Florida, where he dances for Disney Studios. In addition to dancing, Marc Terenzi works as a model and takes on small acting roles. In 1999, Marc Terenzi founds the boy band Natural in Orlando. The band consists of Ben Bledsoe (vocals, bass), Marc Terenzi (vocals, guitar), Michael "J" Horn (vocals, piano), Michael Johnson (drums) and Patrick King (guitar). Music manager Lou Pearlman discovers the group and signs them to a contract. Natural's biggest success is the single "Just One Last Dance", a collaboration with the German singer Sarah Connor. The song reaches number 1 in the German singles charts in March 2004. The band breaks up in 2004. Marc Terenzi launches his solo career in 2005. His first single "Heat Between the Sheets" climbs to number 40 in the German charts. The second single "Love to Be Loved By You" is much more successful. Marc Terenzi writes the song for his wedding to Sarah Connor. The song reaches number 3 in the German singles charts and becomes his most successful solo single. The album Awesome (2005) climbs to number 8 in the German album charts. Other singles from the album are "Can't Breathe Without You" (number 40) and "You Complete My Soul" (number 35). The second album Black Roses is released in 2008. The album reaches number 31 in Germany and number 35 in Switzerland. Marc Terenzi's first single is a cover version of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean". From 2007 to 2012, Marc Terenzi organizes the annual "Terenzi Horror Nights" at Europa-Park in Rust together with Michael Mack. The Halloween event becomes a huge success with the public. In 2010, the Terenzi Horror Nights received the Screamie Award in London in the "Best International Attraction" category. The show wins out over well-known competitors such as Universal Studios Florida, Busch Gardens Tampa, Knotts Berry Farm California and Disneyland Paris. In 2017, Marc Terenzi takes part in the 11th season of the RTL show Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus! and wins the show. In the same year, the single "Don't Recognize You" is released. In 2021, he founds the boy band Team 5ünf together with Jay Khan. The band interprets well-known international boy band hits in German. In September 2021, the album Einmal Boyband und zurück is released, reaching number 20 in the German album charts. Singles such as "Komm zurück zu mir" (German version of Take That's "Back for Good") and "Ich sag es ist so" (German version of the Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way") are released. In March 2023, the band parted ways with Marc Terenzi due to disagreements. Marc Terenzi is also active as a reality TV participant and actor. He is married to German pop singer Sarah Connor from 2004 to 2010. Their relationship and wedding were documented in the reality TV series Sarah & Marc in Love (2005) and Sarah & Marc Crazy in Love (2008). The marriage produced two children.
