Radiorama, an Italian disco group formed in 1985, was composed of Mauro Farina and Simona Zanini. The project began when Simona Zanini and producer Martinelli created "Chance to Desire", initially released as a single on Out Records. This track, interpreted by Hank Shostack, marked the beginning of Radiorama's journey in the italo disco genre. Radiorama's breakthrough came with the release of their first album Desires And Vampires in 1986, which included notable tracks such as "Hey Hey" and "Vampires". The group continued their success with subsequent albums like The 2nd Album (1987) and The Legend (1988), featuring hits like "Abcd/Bad Girls" and "Manitu". These albums were characterized by a powerful vocal performance from Mauro Farina, complemented by Simona Zanini's voice, and produced by Mauro Farina & Giuliano Crivellente. The group's distinctive sound, marked by intricate instrumentation and a relatively low BPM, set them apart in the italo disco scene. In the late 1980s, Radiorama transitioned to a more eurobeat style, releasing albums under 21st Century Records, a label created by Mauro Farina in 1993. Their music evolved with the times, blending Hi-NRG elements while maintaining their distinctive sound.
