Yellow Generation, a Japanese J-pop group formed in 2002, consisted of three members: Yuki Suzuki, Yūko Asami, and Hitomi Watanabe. The group quickly gained attention with their debut single "LOST Generation" released in June 2002. Their breakthrough came later that year when they released the single "Kitakaze to Taiyō" in August. This was followed by several other successful singles, including "Utakata/Shunrai", released in May 2003, and "Yozora ni Saku Hana ~eternal place~" released in September of the same year. The group's first album, Carpe Diem, was released in December 2002. Yellow Generation continued to produce popular music throughout their career, including the single "Tobira no Mukou e", which served as the ending theme for the anime series Fullmetal Alchemist. Their second studio album, life-sized portrait, was released in August 2005. After disbanding in 2006, the members pursued individual careers.
