Les Goristes, a Breton group formed in November 1991 in Brest, France, comprised eight members including Christian Desnos, Patrick Audouin, and Fañch Le Marrec. Their debut single "C Segolene ou C Nicolas" was released in 2007, signalling the band's entry into the world music scene. The group’s first album, La Penfeld aux Brestois, was released in 1996, followed by a steady stream of releases: Le Jean rigole (1999), Bretagne is beautyfuel (2001), Sale temps pour les gros (2004), C' pas triste (2005), Kig Ha Farz Mambo (2007), and A Fond la Caisse (2009). Their music combined Celtic rhythms with sharp social commentary, and they toured extensively across France, particularly in Brittany. While the group did not achieve mainstream chart positions, they earned a dedicated regional following and were noted for their satirical takes on Breton culture. Les Goristes remained active until 2017, when they disbanded.
