CrazyBoy (real name Elliot Rosado Kōya, born September 21, 1987, in Misawa, Aomori Prefecture, Japan) began his artistic journey as a dancer and rapper within the Japanese hip‑hop scene. After training with the dance crew THE TEAM and performing in clubs, he joined the LDH agency and became a performer for Sandaime J Soul Brothers, where he contributed choreography and later rap verses. His solo rap career launched with the collaboration "THE ANTHEM" featuring Exile Shokichi on June 4, 2014. He followed with a series of EPs under the NEOTOKYO series: NEOTOKYO EP (February 24, 2017), NEOTOKYO II EP (July 7, 2017), NEOTOKYO III EP (January 19, 2018), NEOTOKYO IV EP (April 27, 2018), and the compilation NEOTOKYO FOREVER (July 4, 2018). The EPs topped multiple Japanese download charts, and NEOTOKYO III EP peaked at number one on the Oricon weekly chart. In 2019 he released the digital single "PINK DIAMOND" and the physical single "DONNA???" (November 13, 2019). He toured extensively, including the CrazyBoy presents NEOTOKYO ~THE PRIVATE PARTY 2018 ~ tour and a 2021 tour across Japan. His work earned recognition in the J‑rap genre, with chart placements and collaboration credits on projects such as "BOW DOWN" with Snoop Dogg and PKCZ. His career continues under the LDH Music label, marking him as a consistent presence in contemporary Japanese hip‑hop.
