Loukas Sideras is a Greek drummer and singer born on December 5, 1944, in Athens. He established a professional career in the mid-1960s with the group The Stormies, recording three singles. In 1967, Sideras co-founded the progressive rock band Aphrodite's Child with Vangelis and Demis Roussos. The ensemble released the albums End of the World (1968), It's Five O'Clock (1969), and the double album 666 (1972). Following the group's dissolution in 1971, Sideras recorded the solo albums One Day (1972) and Pax Spray (1975). He also produced Riccardo Cocciante's album Alba (1975). In 1977, he formed the band Ypsilon, releasing the album Metro Music Man. Sideras accompanied the singer Sigma Fay on the albums Love's Fool (1979) and Dead Line (1981). His later recording career included the album Get Up (1992) with Diesel and the solo album Stay With Me (2008).
