Having spent his childhood in Northern Mexico, Marcel Cabrera was part of a couple of teenage bands but didn’t start making music of his own until he moved to the US to attend college.
Blending Dreampop and Alternative Rock with lyrics ruminating on his experience growing up and exploring his place in others peoples lives and injecting some personal experiences into the mix, Marcel manages to create a sound that listeners who enjoy music from The Japanese House, Hippo Campus, The 1975, Clairo with find a soothing comfort.
