Hey! I’m Elysaé – your Aussie girl-next-door, making music & dancing in the sunshine ?☀️ I’ve spent countless hours on my Central Coast bedroom floor, turning feelings into melodies & pain into art.
I personify my music as your cool, hip.. granny. Yep, you read that right. You know, the one who tries to be trendy & youthful but is secretly an old soul at heart. Sonically, think a fusion of old-school instrumentation blended with modern pop music that gives a unique throwback vibe while still feeling new (or in less fun descriptors, indie pop).
And because every internet search of ‘how to write an artist bio’ tells you to share your accomplishments, here’s a glimpse at some of mine. Multiple tracks from my debut EP 'You Might as Well Shout' made their mark in competitions by the Australian Songwriting Association & Listen Up Music. I sold out my first headline show & shared the stage with artists such as Caravãna Sun, Dande and The Lion. I’ve travelled around Australia playing festivals such as Pangaea Festival in Tasmania, Full Moon Dance Sunshine Coast & Glenworth Food and Wine Festival. And for my final humble brag, my debut single ‘Blinded’ hit #4 on the AMRAP Radio Charts.
The past year has been a whirlwind, travelling, writing tunes, performing, & experimenting musically to find my sound. I’m so beyond excited to step into this fresh new chapter with you of nostalgic, playful yet still ‘serious’ music ? Let’s begin on page one with ‘Mr Man on the Moon’.
