Lowsan Melgar

Lowsan Melgar is a young and recognized worship music singer in Latin pop and pop styles, born in Guatemala. As the son of a priest, his life was strongly influenced by the life of his father, also a singer-songwriter and musician, Julio Melgar. Since he was little, Lowsan admired what his father did. Being exposed from his childhood to moments of worship in his home, God revealed himself to his life in a genuine and real way and all this defined the path that the young man would follow later. Although he was already on his way into the environment of musical worship, the difficult health process that his father went through - which ended with his death in April 2019 - catapulted Lowsan into the public light, when he released the song “ Your love strings », whose lyrics video has exceeded 62 million views. Although Lowsan Melgar maintains his profile as a worshiper, he has participated in songs with youth bands, such as Un Corazón and Lead. His first album was titled "Legado", a production that premiered in 2020, containing eight songs. Lowsan has had the opportunity to travel to different countries to minister with his songs, including Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina, and the United States. Now, together with Heaven Music, he begins the release of new singles, while he is heading to the premiere of a new record production. Lowsan is married to Daniela Medina Melgar, with whom he lives in the Guatemalan capital.
