Shirō Hamaguchi, born November 19, 1969, in Fukuoka, Japan, is a Japanese anime composer, arranger, and orchestrator. He graduated with a music degree from Tokyo University of the Arts. Hamaguchi worked as a department project manager at Victor Entertainment from 1994 to 1996 before joining Imagine. His debut role was arranging music for the anime series Violinist of Hameln (1996). Hamaguchi was involved in orchestrating tracks like "Aeris's Theme" and "One-Winged Angel" for Final Fantasy VII Reunion Tracks. He composed music for anime series including One Piece, Oh My Goddess!, and Kiddy Grade, often collaborating with composers Kohei Tanaka and Akifumi Tada. Hamaguchi orchestrated pieces such as "Liberi Fatali" from Final Fantasy VIII. His work extended to films like Ah! My Goddess: The Movie and anime series including Rosario + Vampire.
