The Kristet Utseende were a Swedish punk and metal ensemble from Gnarp formed in 1991. The group was established by Jörgen Fahlberg and Jesper Forselius and achieved professional recognition for a musical style they characterized as Narcotic Gay Metal. Their recording career began with demo recordings that featured an undistorted pop sound before they signed with the label Ägg Tapes & Records. Their lyrics addressed themes including homosexuality, drug liberalism, Christianity, and mysticism. Their discography includes the studio recordings Sug och fräls (1994), Pang på pungen i Portugal (1996), and Djävulsvingar över kapellet (1998). The ensemble became inactive in 1999 after a performance at the Hultsfred Festival but resumed activity in 2005. They released the studio recording Sieg Hallelujah (2006) through Black Lodge Records, which featured the track “Inferno Pervers” (2006) and reached number 3 on the Swedish charts. The ensemble became inactive in 2018.
