Sammi Palinkas is an Australian contemporary country artist & songwriter known for emotionally honest, empowering storytelling. Raised on Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers & Loretta Lynn, she blends the heart of ’90s country with the confidence of today’s female voices, and artists such as Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Lainey Wilson & Carly Pearce.
Sammi began performing professionally at 3, winning a national televised singing competition at 8 and later appearing on major stages & broadcasts across Australia, including the Melbourne season of Annie at the Regent Theatre alongside Anthony Warlow. She’s performed to live audiences of 25,000+, national television audiences, and in 2025 played one of Australia’s largest country music festivals, Savannah in the Round, alongside full-band headline shows.
Writing between Australia & the US, her songwriting has been recognised internationally, with Nashville Songwriters Association International naming her a “One to Watch” and multiple semi-finalist placements in the International Songwriting Competition.
Her debut album No Settlin’, with award-winning producer Rod McCormack (The Wolfe Brothers, Lee Kernaghan), was named one of CountryTown’s Best Australian Country Albums of 2025, with singles charting in the CountryTown National Airplay Chart Top 50.
With new music due early 2026, Sammi writes modern country songs for country hearts & storytellers - from heartbreak & happiness to empowerment.
