Jake Doe is a singer, songwriter and rapper from Nigeria. Hailing from South-Eastern Nigeria but Jake Doe is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper. Based in Lagos, the entertainment capital of Africa; he creates a unique amalgam of Hiphop, Afrobeats R&B and Highlife music. Jake has on a number of occasions credited acts like; Michael Jackson, Drake, Brandy, Lupe Fiasco and Fally Ipupa for influencing his style and sound.
Music is a form of self expression and as a keen observer of life around him; creating music became his primary means of telling his stories and those of others , and also dealing with challenges and difficulties in the hopes that someone out there with the same shared experiences wouldn’t have to ever feel alone.
With 3 mixtapes and 2 EPs released it is plain for anyone looking in to see just how much passion and pain Jake carries with every note, bar or refrain and its a sure pointer of a career headed in the right direction.
His soon to be released EP - “Yours Unfaithfully 2” set for April 25th 2025; highlights his journey as an artiste, his beautiful connection to his fans and of course his failed relationships.
