New album "Bien fait pour toi" out now !
New album out now & now on tour !
Pierre Donoré was born in the French Alps in 80‘s. Always with his guitar on his back, he already played hundreds of gigs, mainly in France. After being sold out at l'Européen Theatre in Paris, Pierre Donoré played in major venues such as l’Olympia or Casino de Paris, opening for Michael Bolton, Zucchero, Ray Davies, Natalie Cole, Modà…
Pierre Donoré's next album is out ! Je t'oublie, Plus rien & Le tableau are the first singles, and an EP is to be released in spring. He already released 4 CDs. His latest one is called L’amour en deux (2017), it came after the EP Maintenant (2014), his 1st album Je viens à toi (2010), and his 1st EP, Donoré (2007). Major French musicians and lyricists participated to his different albums.
Singer songwriter, pianist and guitarist, he combines the long tradition of Chanson Française with Pop & Folk. The result is charming and surprising. In an environment that is both acoustic and pop, his songs are full of colors, from the brightest colors that shine as happiness, to darker ones that often accompany one’s secret side.
Yet, Pierre Donoré’s songs all have one point in common: they are refreshing!
This gives them a pleasant and endearing quality. They talk about childhood and time flying by, love and separation, freedom, travels and dreams: they talk about life. Combining the sensitive and somber with the generous and extraverted, Pierre Donoré leaves no one indifferent. A mixture of romantic and melancholic qualities with the ludicrous and pleasant, creates the complexity of emotion that he likes to cultivate.
But it is on stage that Donoré takes his entire dimension. His music is an invitation to think about our personal relationships, and to open our minds to other landscapes, cultures and traditions. Alone on stage with a piano or an acoustic guitar or with his 5 pieces band, he will bring you to his universe full of dreams and love… Since 2018, he also presents his show within an international cultural project involving pupils in choir, in France and abroad, as in Romania for a 8-dates-tour in 2019, with a trio line up.
