Kamel Ouali (born December 15, 1971) is a French-Algerian choreographer, dancer, and stage director from Paris. Ouali began a professional career as a dance professor at the Dance Academy of Paris and the conservatories of La Courneuve and Saint-Denis. In 1989, Ouali signed a first professional contract for the visuals of the track “French Kiss” and joined the Latino Party group in 1990. Ouali performed in music videos including Khaled’s “Chebba” (1993) and Takfarinas’ “Zaama Zaama” (1999). Between 2000 and 2004, Ouali choreographed the musicals Les Dix Commandements and Autant en Emporte le Vent. From 2001 to 2008, Ouali served as the dance instructor for the television program Star Academy. Ouali directed and choreographed original musicals including Le Roi Soleil (2005), Cléopâtre, la dernière reine d'Égypte (2009), and Dracula, l'amour plus fort que la mort (2011). In 2019, Ouali directed the cabaret revue L'Oiseau Paradis.
