Cedric Vermue is a Dutch composer, pianist, and producer of neo-classical and ambient music based in Amsterdam. His work blends intimate piano recordings with layered textures, field recordings, and subtle electronics—often in collaboration with classical musicians— to create contemplative sonic landscapes that explore stillness, space, and emotion.
In 2019, he released his debut album Left Upon Us on Piano and Coffee Records, establishing his signature sound and described as “fragile and tender, nostalgic and tranquil” by Headphone Commute. His latest work, Perpetua (2023, Mylja Records), reimagines liturgical melodies through organ, woodwinds, choir, and modern production—mostly recorded in a church in Utrecht.
With over four million streams worldwide, Cedric’s music continues to resonate with a global audience. In addition to his solo releases, he composes for film, theatre, dance, poetry, and installations —working across contemporary classical, minimalism, ambient, and experimental electronics.
