The Geisha Band from Pekanbaru consists of five young people, Momo in vocals, Roby on guitar, Aan on drums, Dhan on keyboard and Bernard (Nard) on bass.
Starting from the finalist A Mild Live Wanted in 2007, initially used the name Jingga with the composition of personnel, Febri (drums), Momo (vocals), Roby (guitar), Aan (guitar), Amek (keyboard), and Bernard (bass). Then the band is used to spawn indie singles, Hey Ya (Forever), Sya La La, Cinta Lama Bersemi Back (CLBK), and Lost Love performed by Febri should continue his studies in other cities. Finally they promote a new formation with the name Geisha.
The debut single Geisha is commercially available on the 2007 AML WANTED compilation album Forever. And over the next two years, Geisha's dream of having her own debut album has been achieved. By carrying the flow of progressive rock art, Momo et al released the debut album in 2009 with the title ANUGRAH TERINDAH which contains 12 songs. In 2011, Geisha released their second album titled MERAIH BINTANG. This album presents some single mainstay one Love and Hate. This album promo is specially designed. 2012 becomes a full year of achievement for Geisha. In the AMI Awards they won 3 awards for the Best Duo / Group category, Best Recording Album Producer and Best Album. In the category of Best Duo / Group, Geisha managed to excel its senior, Sheila On 7.
One of Geisha's remarkable achievements on their third album, SELECTION HITS, was released in 2013. The album contains 12 songs with 9 old songs and 3 new songs, with my Memory Lump hits that set the record for most video clips with Youtube viewers , which is 39,733,278 (as of August 3, 2015) and became one of the most downloaded RBT songs.
