LemOjOvie is a contemporary musical project based in Kiev. DJ Lemo Joе aka LemoDJ aka Yuri Gritsak, is responsible for the music and the rap parts within the duo. Zhenya Geniy aka Eugene Grushevsky, is the vocalist and the author of guitar parts. While Joe is known as a DJ and beat maker of Ukrainian singer’s Ivan Dorn's band and the founder of LemOjOvie, Jenia’s background is that of an ex choir singer and graduate of a music school inseparable with his guitar.
LemOjOvie released a powerful WeDo album and is known for repeated performances at parties of any scale. From private events to major Ukrainian festivals, LemOjOvie is present, having played at such events as Atlas Weekend 2017/2018 and White Nights 2017/2018. And this New Year's Eve LemOjOvie was on of the headliners of unique party "Teleport", which was held in the main television center in Kiev.
What distinguishes LemOjOvie from the crowd is that these guys are constantly experimenting. They compose music for their own pleasure, and it’s immediately palpable. As the guys say: “We make music, to which we will dance ourselves”.
Time has shown that, not only Lemo Joe and Zhenya Geniy love to dance to their music, but also the host of British radio station BBC Radio 1, who without hesitation launched the track Where Are You From into the rotation.
Live performances of Lemojovie - is a separate story. Not only the audience, but also the professionals of show business are delighted with their performances. At the New Year's party of the label Masterskaya, the guys were invited as headliners of the evening and won the attention of all those gathered.
LemOjOvie are all about the music. This is clearly seen in their new video clip, where sound comes first. In the Hosa video, musicians participate only in a small episode, and the main role is played by a professional actor.
Lately LemOjOvie are focused on writing new material.
