Robert Moura is a Brazilian composer and guitarist, born in the city of Belo Horizonte, in Minas Gerais. Professor and founder of Alaúde Escola de Música, he is a doctoral student in Music at UFRJ, Bachelor of Music at UEMG and Master of Arts/Music at the same institution. Robert started studying classical guitar and electric guitar in his childhood, formed rock bands, in addition to having played in several projects of different genres and musical formations. Since 2010, he has been developing work in the theater area making soundtracks (composition, arrangements, recordings and live performances).
In 2021, he released the EP soundtrack he composed for the play “Ensaio Para A Morte" (Rehearsal for Death), in which he also acted as a guitarist and phonographic producer and featured a string quartet formed by musicians from the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2023, he composed, performed and produced the soundtrack for the play "Heitor", which will soon be released on digital platforms in two singles featuring soprano Jennifer Carvalho and cellist Lucas Barros.
