Misha Angèle, born Marcia Sondeijker in Sittard, The Netherlands, spent her formative years in diverse international environments including Bolivia and Oman. Her musical inclinations manifested at an early age of four, when she began emulating the vocal techniques of renowned artists such as Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey. After a decade working in international luxury and fashion corporations, she reconnected with music through a collaboration with Dutch Hip- Hop producer Sliscobars. Inspired by Alicia Key’s Song in A Minor and Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city, she rededicated herself to songwriting.
Drawing from her diverse cultural experiences, she crafts music at the crossroads of Pop and RnB. Her smooth, airy vocals, rich melodies, storytelling through a free and sharp pen, and colorful harmonies reflect her dynamic, uncensored life. Casual and natural style, she embodies a "no-nonsense" Dutch attitude.
Performing under the name Misha Angèle in the RnB/Pop genre, she releases In Love and Can’t Count. In Love, received significant radio play across Dutch stations and is going viral in Asia.
On September 3, she releases her bold new single “Lovers/Friends?”, kicking off a season of singles that will roll out throughout the fall — all leading to the “Here I Can Breathe Under Water” EP to be released in 2026.
She is also a prolific songwriter, having penned multiple #1 charting songs worldwide, including Weekend for K-Pop Idol Taeyeon, with 576 million streams and over 790K albums sold worldwide.
