Hector Novas (Argentina) studied percussion in Buenos Aires at the "Conservatorio Manuel de Falla" in Argentina, at the Østlandets Musikkonservatoriet and took a master's in music pedagogy in 2005 at the University of Oslo. Hector has played with a number of well-known artists in Argentina, including Astor Piazzola's singer, Amelita Baltar. In addition to having worked as a freelance musician, he has also participated in 9 programs at «Rikskonsertene», TV2's Skal Vi Danse, been a member of the band The Jazz Police, led the Latin jazz project Chirica Latinjazz, a member of the Latin American band Inti fusion and participates as a freelancer in several projects within both classical and popular music.
