Venezuelan musician, born in San Cristóbal, Táchira State. He discovered the drums of Venezuelan folk music at the age of 3. When he turned 6, he entered the National System of Youth Orchestras of Venezuela - the largest musical movement of young people in Latin America , where he specialized in Latin and Afro-Venezuelan percussion. In 2007, he joined the National Children's Symphony of Venezuela, of Maestro Gustavo Dudamel (current director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Los Angeles), to later become a musician in the Simón Bolivar Symphonic Band.
His talent, dedication and relevance as one of the most important musicians in the South American country, have allowed him to participate 5 times in the convention "The NAMM" in Los Angeles, United States of America, representing different international brands and touring with different artists. With his music, Orestes has had the chance to surprise the audiences of: Holland, Portugal, France, Belgium, Spain, the United States of America, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, his native Venezuela, Curaçao, Aruba and many more.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists such as: Wisin, Alexis and Fido, La Vida Bohéme, McKlopedia (one of the most important Hip-Hop bands in Latin America), Rafael "El Pollo" Brito, C4 Trío, Achilles Báez, Los Amigos Invisibles, Caloncho and Centavrvs among many others.
Experiencia Curiara, is the name of his most recent release, it is the first project that brings Venezuelan traditional music to new places where it meets jazz, Latin rhythms, hip-hop and the undeniable virtuosity that is displayed on the stage by all the musicians who accompany him.A concert that leaves one with an open mouth, after moving with sounds to a remote town on the coasts of Venezuela, going through different regions of Latin America to reach the greatest current rhythms such as jazz or hip-hop, an unparalleled sound and visual experience.
