Yesenia Araceli Rodríguez Madrid, better known as Cheli Madrid, is the name of this young woman from Culiacán, Sinaloa, whose vocal talent and enormous charisma have catapulted her as one of the new values of the Regional Mexican music and one of the most listened to young women in social networks.
Like any restless young woman, Cheli Madrid started uploading home videos to her YouTube channel and surprisingly she realized that the number of followers was growing more and more, therefore she was encouraged to record a live album she called "Rancheritas con Guitarras".
At age 17 she recorded her first album under the label TN Music Group, record company of Los Tigres del Norte, with whom she recorded the song: "Qué te parece" song that was part of the album "Historias Que Contar," released in 2006 , by the so-called 'Jefes de Jefes'.
After graduating from the University of Cal-State, Long Beach and with a diploma in business administration with a specialization in marketing, Cheli Madrid moved to Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, where she joined the cast of the Latin Power Music label.
During this period, Cheli joined the 3Ball MTY tour for a year where she toured the main cities of Mexico and the United States.
Her talent did not go unnoticed by the businessman Ángel del Villar, who as a visionary saw in Cheli Madrid, a huge potential and in 2017, he signed her to the 'roster' of artists of the Records.
This is how, in the first months of 2019, the young sinaloan girl released her first single "Que poquito me conoces" which debuted with great success in the digital platforms, as well as her second single “Si algun dia te encuentro” song with which she made her debut as a songwriter and where she collaborated with Ulises Chaidez in the banda version, the two singles are included in her first record with the company DEL Records called “Confidente”.
"Now I'm signed by DEL Records and I'm full of hope, energy and motivation to keep fighting in search of my dreams," says Cheli Madrid, whom her thousands of followers already call her: "The Lady of DEL Records".
In addition, the young native of Culiacan, Sinaloa, but settled in California, defends female talent within the Mexican regional genre and is ready to join the group of empowering women in the Regional Mexican genre.
To close the month of may, Cheli Madrid traveled to the island of Hawaii, to record the video of the single "Tiempo", which will play a duet with singer-songwriter Abraham Vazquez, another promising star of the company DEL Records.
