Straight out of the north-eastern region of Italy, a colorful combination of characters find themselves sharing the same passion for music, combining their love for everything funk, rap, disco, and rock.
This cocktail of musical genres enabled the creation of “Lafanki”.
Since 2017 the band has been securing numerous gigs in Italy, performing alongside notorious Italian artists such as Mezzosangue, Giò Sada, and Urban Strangers.
Seeking new frontiers, the crew has also ventured in the United Kingdom, performing in London, Brighton, and Cornwall in 2018, and 2019.
Having had live events put on hold throughout 2020/21, the band had quite the time to meditate, and has been working on a project that challenges the connotations of musical genres by blending the past, present, and future.
